The Family: The Grewals
The Family was the first factual programme to be filmed using the now ubiquitous ‘multi-camera’ system, or, more colloquially, ‘on the rig’. Twelve months after the Hughes family allowed their bickering, moaning and heroic teenage slouching to be captured for national posterity, series two, features three generations of the irrepressible Grewal family who live in their five-bedroom pebble-dashed house under the Heathrow flight path in Windsor.
