Sighthill Stories

Sighthill Primary School sits in the shadows of the huge high-rise towers of the Sighthill Estate in Glasgow.  As the housing estate is cleared out for demolition, the children of Sighthill face constant uncertainty about when they’ll be moved out of their homes.  A revealing and uplifting portrait of a community undergoing massive change in challenging times, Sighthill Stories is an intimate and poignant film following the fortunes of a few children who in the face of adversity reveal admirable optimism and resilience.
